How You Can Easily Earn the Coveted “NS” Title

I’m Jerry Grinkmeyer, BS, NS–that’s “Bachelor of Science” and “Non-Smoker”. I did not earn my second title until a couple of years ago when I quit smoking after more years than I care to count. You’ll read about how I earned it throughout this blog but I must give credit to the late (he died of lung cancer) Allen Carr, author of “The Easy Way to Stop Smoking.” His book put me on the path to quitting and as the title so boldly promised, it was easy.

I love smokers the way Mother Teresa loved sick people. I want to fix them all, make them realize that they needn’t go through life killing themselves with cigarettes. And mostly I want them to know that the myth “We all know how hard it is to quit smoking” is just that–a myth.
